I am in love with Jesus Christ.
He's my loving, patient Savior who set me free from my imperfections.
He was battered, mocked, spit on, and hung on a cross.

To my softball girls...it's Lola.
But within reason...call me what you will...it doesn't define me.

My Jesus has definitely blessed my life beyond measure...

I have some of the most amazing friends in the world.
Hanging out with not much to do...just aimless with each other is what we do...
cause this ain't where it's at...

Some of the most beautiful things in my life have ended...but endings bring about strength and teach lessons that could never have been learned otherwise. And I can definitely appreicate that.

Music is what has captured my attention. Acoustic music will always be the best. I adore singing, though I don't do so well. I'm learning to play the guitar, very slowly and without much success.
[C][o][n][c][e][r][t][i][n][g] is definitely one of the greatest things in the world. Hearing a song live tends to lead to falling in love with it.
Foreign language holds a special place in my heart. Speak one to me, teach me a phrase...and you might just steal my heart.
I love holding hands and laughing. Taking the time to appreciate the sunset is one of my favorite times to be alive.
I love ULTIMATE frisbee and no matter what the game is, I'm always too competitive. Softball is at the top of the list as well.
I like people who make me .t.h.i.n.k., and I love to make other people think.
I hate holding back and [m][o][n][o][t][o][n][y].
It's pretty much a given that I'll never be properly dressed for the weather...atleast not in the winter. It's summer all year round in .m.y. heart.
I believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt when it comes to figuring out their character...But prove me wrong, and it takes a lot to gain my trust back.
If you tell me you'll do something, I expect you to follow through--no matter how little of a matter it may be.
I'm a firm believer that you should fight for the things that are important to you. Why would you not?
I don't understand how feelings change so suddenly or why relationships develop or are destroyed so quickly.

I'm learning that life isn't about being happy all the time.
I'm a broken person.
I feel pain, sadness, loneliness.
But the beautiful part of the story...my Jesus puts the broken pieces back together...
& even when I utterly abandon Him...
He's always there to pick me up.

I'm learning that sometimes...people become who they promised they'd never be.
& that's okay.

I'm realizing that sometimes things end to bring about something that was better for you all along.
That time doesn't heal all wounds.
That if you want something badly enough, you'll fight for it.
I don't believe in giving up.
[N][o][t][h][i][n][g] is a lost cause.

Chances are, if it's legal and pretty healthy, then I plan on doing it sometime in my life.
I plan on being a Pediatric Oncologist when I grow up.
(That's a cancer doctor, for little kids.)
A lot of people don't understand how I could possibly want to do that.
& if you're one of those people, feel free to ask me why.
I'd love to tell you.
The truth of the matter is...

i want to help save the world.
And if that costs me an ocean of tears and all of my time and energy, I say...
bring on the pain.
